Thankfully the manufactr urer of my rig replaced the fan and CPU with updated models under warranty because it was a NOS rig, (older model but bought new fro an authorized vendor with full warranty coverage from the vendor and manufacterer). And don t have to worry about Trojans, viruses, malware, spyware or such. I do run my own Mods, but I know what they do, how they do it and what the risks are. (Found this out when the stock CPU fan threw a bearing silently and I was not keeping an eye on Speccy readings). Mine (my older rig) willl actually let me run at 70+ Celcius for an alarming amount of time before it shuts down. Not all computers will automatically shut down when they overheat. Mods, espeically unoptimized Mods, or not configured to sync with the game's optimization settings can put tons of load on your rig that it may burn out your CPU and/or GPU9S) if you aren t careful. If your rig runs ok with the offical build, it may not with a Mod. Ray, your PC could "explode" if the Mod causes an increased load on your CPU and GPU's. The last thing you need to happen is your PC exploding don't know how that would happen but it might.īut with a new update coming very soon installing mods at this time wouldn't be a good idea. But anything like this is unlikely as you are getting it from the official maker of the mod but again be careful.ģ.be sure you know exactly what you are doing before installing mods and when putting them in the game's files always follow the steps available again the dves cannot help so keep backups of your game and save files. There have been cases where bad things get into downloads/ been put there (viruses, trogens, spyware ect.) just be sure to scan the file before use. Also mods will not work when a new update comes especially when the major content update comes so try to keep it in date.Ģ. So in other words installing mods voids any help from the devs. If anything goes wrong with a modded game the devs can not help you as they don't know what has happened to the game. Same for when i have extra honey, hunter and booms which I have pens for in the cave (because it direct links to the lab).Początkowo opublikowane przez jacksonwolfe1:Actually Could You Tell Me The Dangers? Of Installing Modsġ. When I have enough in the refinery, I can shoot extras into the market for quick sales. I have 2 corals there for churning out pink, rad, tabby and rock plorts. I have also added a market link to the lab area. Now that I have unlocked Master level extractors (all 3) I am back to placing 1 ea in the lab area and they do tend to turn over far more of the rare mats than extractors placed elsewhere. In the docks area I have the water pens along with both a refinery and market link. In the refuge, I added an warp depot that links to the center of the main ranch area for shipping back 100 of a crop to the main ranch in addition to what I can carry in the vac. I have now moved virtually all my crops out there. I also set up a teleporter in the lab that links to Ogden's refuge. Since there is a refinery link, I can deposit directly from there. Or I can hop the teleporter to the back of the desert and collect mats from the extractors. In that north area of the glass desert, I put 1 each of the 3 types of extractors and a refinery link.įrom the lab I can teleport to the glass desert and then walk up the ramp to the ruins and the nets. Just up the ramp is the entrance to the Ruins section (where you enter the glass desert from initially). I set another teleporter down next to it that links to the far north commons area within the glass desert. I set up a teleporter at the base of the big ramp. In the time since that post I got to the glass desert and also unlocked Ogden's Retreat (all of it).
